A gorgeous day for a hike!

We took advantage off a gorgeous day and went for a hike in nearby Eagle River. It was 11 miles roundtrip and our legs were a tad tired at the end!!!! I got so hot that I unzipped my pant legs but couldn't be bothered to take them off, they make killer leg warmers don't they?!

It was such a clear day we had a fabulous view of Denali!

We had to cross about 1/2 mile of these rocks...it was a bit hard on the ankles but we made it out with no twists! Our final destination was gorgeous, well worth the trek.

Hatcher's Pass and Whittier

Storman and I did some hikes in Hatcher's Pass and in Whittier. Here are a few shots I took!

Hatcher's Pass

One of the 2 rainbow's we saw in Hatcher's Pass. We were a little wet at the end of our hike!

We almost got blown away on this hike in Whittier! That's Portage Glacier in the background.

A nice 900ft drop to the river kinda got in out way to one of the glaciers...
